The Gardener by S.A. Bodeen is a new science fiction title in the library. When Mason visits the nursing home where his mother works, he stumbles upon several cataonic teenagers sitting on a couch. His mother asks him to watch them for a moment, and when he plays a DVD, one girl wakes up. She doesn't know who or where she is, but she knows she is in danger and wants to escape. Mason knows she is connected to TroDyn, a local company, that is using these teens for scientific research. However, as soon as she is away for a few hours, she becomes weak and Mason must return her to TroDyn in order for her to survive. What will he find when he enters this place where disturbing things are happening?
